I need more hours in a day

There really isn't enough hours in the day, to get everything done lately. If we could have 14 days in each week I might be able to get myself sorted lol, not that I'm moaning, I'm loving every minute of it.

Since I wrote on my blog last, there's been 4 birthdays in Jims family. His daughter Kate was 30, and there was a surprise birthday meal for her at Barbar Elephant indian restaurant. The food was brilliant WHEN it eventually arrived. It took 1 1/2hrs from when we ordered our meal to when it finally arrived, and even then we had to have our rice all put on our plate at once, as they'd run out of serving spoons !!So if anyone in Lancaster wants a meal out, only go to this place if you don't mind a long wait !! Mary was 21 and we were invited round for a bite to eat. As it was a lovely day we went along the canal bank to get to the house, big mistake !! I got a puncture on my mobility scooter, it all got sorted out eventually ..but poor Jim missed all the fun and was outside fixing my scooter for me, in the freezing cold I might add. Thirdly it was Rach's 28th birthday, I think by this time everyone was all partied out. The last birthday was Jim's I'll save his blushes and not say how old he was lol.

Apart from all the birthdays, we've been decorating the front room. This was rudely interupted when I got struck down with a nasty cough and cold, and then no sooner did I start to recover than Jim got struck down with it too. He's still suffering now, in the meantime I've been doing some little pen and ink drawings for round the clock, and am just in the process of doing a largish abstract canvas for the fireplace wall. I'll post photo's of all the art work next time I update my blog.

We've been out and about a lot seeing as the weathers not been too cold, and taken some nice photo's. The main thing I love about Lancaster is that there's so many lovely places to go and see. We also bought a trailer for Jim's bike, as we just weren't getting enough wood on my scooter to keep us going for longer than a day or two at the most. It arrived from Ebay and Jim couldn't wait to put it together. sadly because I was still poorly at the time, it's debut was delayed by a couple of days. But as soon as I was feeling a bit better off we went along the canal and loaded up with some very nice tasty logs that had fallen the last time we had high winds.

When the nicer weather comes the trailer will be used to load up picnics, blankets and spare batteries so we can go much further afield. For the first time in years I'll be glad to see the back of the winter and be looking forward to the sunny weather.

The photo's will probably speak for themselves, so I hope you enjoy them.
